The Capitol.

Text: LAVRVM DE FASCIBVS DEPOSVI IN CAPITOLIO VOTIS SOLVTIS
I deposited in the Capitol the laurel from my fasces, having fulfilled the vows.

Extract from Mon.Anc. 4:
Laurum de fascibus deposui in Capitolio votis, quae quoque bello nuncupaveram, solutis.
I deposited in the Capitol the laurel from my fasces, having fulfilled in each of my wars the vows which I had made.

Three wreaths of laurel on lower part, in the background the Capitoline temple of Jupiter Optimus Maximus. Two large fasces with the head of the wolf form the frame.

The motive and the text refer to the Italian conquest of Ethiopia. Also Mussolini had fullfilled the wovs, as Augustus before him.
