The mother at the loom, embraced by her sons.

Text: INTEREA DVLCES PENDENT CIRCVM OSCULA NATI (GEORG.II)
Meanwhile his dear children hand upon his kisses;

Extract from Georgics 2.523:
Interea dulches pendent circum oscula nati,
casta pudicitiam servat domus, ubera vaccae
lactea demittunt, pinguesque in gramine laeto
inter sa adversis luctantur cornibus haedi.

Meanwhile, his dear children hang upon his kisses;
his unstaind home guards its purity; the kine droop milk-laden udders,
and on the glad sward, horn to horn, the fat kids wrestle.

In Georgics it is the father, not the mother, who recieves the kisses.
