Italian State coat-of-arms

The new Italian State coat-of-arms introduced in 1929.
Arms of Savoy with fasces on each side. The letters f.e.r.t.  are written on the collar. "fortitudo ejus rhodum tenuit" (His firmness guarded Rhodes).

This is the first stamp were the new coat-of-arms with fasces is being used. The fusion implied that fascism had a past connected to the Italian national state.
