Filiberto on horseback.

The motive is the equestrian monument in Turin, a work of Carlo Maroghetti (1838), in Piazza St. Carlo between the facades of the churches of S.Christina and S.Carlo. The Duke is sheathing his sword after the victory of St. Quintin (1557).

In the lower left corner a simple edition of the arms of Savoy and in the right fasces.
