Date of issue: May 1911. Valid up to December 31, 1911.

Turin was the capital of Piedmont until 1861 and after the unification it became the capital of Italy. In 1866 the capital was moved to Florence. In 1870, after the defeat of the papal troops, Rome became capital of the kingdom of Italy.
